Celexa 30 mg

Celexa is a brand name for the prescription drug Citalopram. It is used to treat major depressive disorder (depression). This medicine is belonging to a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).

Doctors have prescribed various doses of the medication for patients. For these patients, different doses are available, such as Celexa 5 mg, Celexa 20 mg, Celexa 30 mg, Celexa 40 mg, and Celexa 60 mg. The doctor advises initially taking the medication at a lower dose of Celexa 5 mg.  It may increase if the patient’s condition has not changed. If you think more than one medicine will help with rapid mood changes, it is wrong with this concept. Consult with your doctor if the medicine has not worked.  If you use any prescription or nonprescription medicine such as opioid medicine, herbal products, or any other medicine for mental illness, tell your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are taking sleeping pills like Halcion and Sonata, or other pain relief medicine like Oxycodone, Gabapentin, Norco, Vicodin, Lortab, etc.
