Generic Lunesta 2 mg

Lunesta improving or maintaining sleep in most adults is 2 or 3 mg at bedtime. People who are above the age of 65 are usually treated with Lunesta 1 mg or Lunesta 2 mg. Lunesta should be taken just before bedtime. This is because sedation can begin after 10 minutes. The effect can last up to 6 hours and should only be taken by those who intend to sleep for at least 8  hours.

If clinically indicated, the dose can be increased to 2 mg. In some patients, high morning blood levels of Lunesta after doses of  2 mg or 3 mg increase the risk of driving disorders. You should avoid drinking alcohol while taking Lunesta. Dangerous side effects and fatal accidents may occur. Lunesta should not be taken within 1 hour of eating a high-fat or heavy diet. This makes it difficult for your body to absorb the drug.
